South Arundel Citizens for Responsible Development (SACReD)

SACReD is committed to building sustainable and environmentally responsible Chesapeake Bay communities through education, research, and action.  SACReD is a community supported, volunteer driven, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.   

 

SACReD's goals include:

  • Protection of the Chesapeake Bay’s water quality, beauty and wildlife habitats

  • Wetlands preservation and restoration

  • Community empowerment for environmental, resource, and facility planning and decision-making

  • Creation of educational and recreational opportunities for Southern Anne Arundel County youth that increase environmental awareness and nurture commitment to ecological protection
